We will be headed to NJ next Monday to spend the week of Thanksgiving. We will be eating at my mom's this year. There will be a total of 10 people so I thought it might be cute to come up with a place marker idea. My dear friend and neighbor, Kim, is an elementary school teacher so she always has so many cute ideas. She came over this past Sunday and we worked on "Turkey pots". We used foam and traced the boys' hands to use for the feathers. The turkey body is also cut from foam. After assembling one I decided to wait and assemble the others when I get to NJ b/c it would be a pain in the butt to transport 10 turkeys without damaging them.
"Dear friend and neighbor"....you are too nice! I had so much fun making these with you. Hope your family enjoys them on Thanksgiving! Wait till you see my Xmas ideas :) :) I miss you and the boys already!
