Here comes the sun . . .
or so we thought. It was sunny and warm and Josh was taking a nap so I decided to bring out the Pirate Pool that Jenny gave the boys. We had it filled with water ready to go. Jared ate a snack and was in the pool for about 5 min. when the clouds rolled in. Mother Nature decided to dump buckets on East Taunton and ruin our pool fun. Josh woke up from his nap, it stopped raining and the sun came back out. So all 3 of us enjoyed the afternoon in the pool.

Trying to play catch-up
We went to NJ for the weekend - there will be a post about that - but before we left we took advantage of the first "dry" day we had in a long time. The boys had been stuck in the house for over a week due to the rain so when I saw the "dry" weather forecast I took advantage. I say, "dry" b/c it ended up raining later on in the day. We went down the street to a huge lake that is part of a state park. We had a picnic lunch and then walked around for a bit. I had not had my camera out in about a week either since we had be couped up in the house. This post is image heavy as I couldn't leave many out. Since learning how to make my pictures look better using photoshop, I find myself editing each and every picture. So, as my title says, I am trying to play catch up to edit and post these pictures.

Look who's walkin'
We were out on the deck today and it has been in the sun for hours. When Josh went down on his knees to crawl he started crying. I grabbed him quickly because I figured the hot deck was burning his knees. Indeed it was burning his knees but Josh did not go inside as a result. Instead he started walking.

Yes and No
Josh has been shaking his head now for a very long time. We always shake our heads no when we tell him "no" so he has seen us do it a lot. He just recently started shaking his head yes. If I offer him something to eat he will let me know now if he wants it or not by shaking his head.
