Liam's Birthday Party

My friend, Melissa's son Liam, just turned 2 last week. I took the boys to his birthday party at McDonalds. Drew got out of going to the party since he had to go to St. Louis for work. The boys had a good time. It took Jared a little while to begin to play because he thought it was just for "babies". He really was there even though I don't have any pictures of him. He started to play after I had put my camera away.

Jared says . . .

Jared has been asking questions about babies here and there since he has found out about the baby in mommy's belly. He said to me yesterday, "It's funny that girls have girls in their belly." When I asked why, he replied, "Because she will do all the things that you did when you were little." Then he proceeded to ask, "Do someone make us?"

Happy Valentine's Day

I had gotten the boys some little treats for Valentine's Day. They opened them on Sunday morning right after they woke up. Here is Josh taste testing his marshmallow taffy in his Christmas pajamas.

We then had breakfast consisting of heart shaped chocolate chip pancakes and grapes.

Josh ate all of his grapes first.
Josh saying "cheese" for the camera.
Mommy's plate didn't have the pretty heart shaped pancakes. I ended up with the pancake remains. It all tasted the same :)
Saying cheese again with a very dirty face.
Jared ate all of his chocolate chips first.

Josh in the snow

Jared says . . .

It used to be a fireman that Jared wanted to be when he grows up. If you ask him today he will say, "Batman". I tried explaining that Batman is pretend and you cannot be Batman when you grow up but if you tried explaining that to a 5-year old I guess you would have the same reaction. Too funny!

Snow ~ Image HEAVY

Jared's school was cancelled again today due to a delayed opening. We spent the day in our jammies and just hung out. I hadn't even thought to take the boys out to play in the snow but Josh took it upon himself to put his sneakers on (sort of) and point out the sliding glass doors at the snow. I bundled them up and out we went.

Making snow angels.
Sharing a piece of ice.

Josh follows Jared around copying his every move.

Again, Josh copying Jared eating the snow. Jared stopped when I told him a bird could have peed on it. Haha.

We set the camera up on the kitchen chair from inside the house.
Jared asked to have another one taken so Josh could be in it.

Poor Josh kept falling down and couldn't get up on his own. His snow pants are still a little too big.

Saying "cheese".
Playing with no gloves on.
Waving bye bye.
Josh didn't want to come inside so I asked him if he wanted lunch and he said, "uh huh" and in we went. I thought it was going to be much more difficult than that. He has been eating so good lately that he doesn't want to miss a meal. Here he is with his cheese sandwich and grapes.

Dancing

Jared and Josh dancing to Rocky the Robot. This was a Christmas gift given to Jared from Jenny and Robbie.

This is one of the few times the boys actually played with the train table. Josh has used it a lot more than Jared but it has been more of a decoration than anything. Josh did play on it the other day when Liam came over. Pam ~ I would bring it to your house if we didn't live so gosh darn far away!!!

My life

Josh was screaming in Jared's face while Jared was trying to play playstation. This was causing Jared to yell back at Josh. This went on for about 2 minutes and I only caught the tail end. Drew and I were cracking up laughing.

More hats

Wouldn't these look so cute on a boy and girl set of twins??? I made the pink one first and when Kim saw it she really liked it so I made one for her baby (who is making his debut any day now) Kole.
I have been wanting to use purple for awhile so I bit the bullet and bought some. If our baby is not a girl I am going to have to find someone with a newborn girl to give all of these hats to :) This purple, green and white color combo is one of my favorites yet!

Snapshots

I haven't been taking out my camera nearly as much as I should be (in my opinion) so the other day when Josh was on the couch with Drew I had to capture the moment. I am sure they were watching some home improvement show.
