Jared was in the pool for about 6 hours.

If you can believe it we have actually been busy. We spent the last week in NJ. We went down to have Josh Christened on the 24th. Living in Mass made it too difficult to plan anything big for the occassion so we kept everything very small. We went to Storybook Land and attended a Memorial Day bbque at Jill and Carl's lovely abode. We had a very nice stay and now we are back to reality. Jared graduated from his first year of preschool today. Where the heck did the time go??? It was so cute . . . they sang cowboy-themed songs and dressed as cowboys and cowgirls. Jared looked so old today in his white polo with his tanned arms and face. I still cannot believe that I have 2 children and one of them has finished his first year of school!!!

Josh's Photo Shoot

I wanted to take some pictures of Josh after I tried on the outfit he is going to wear when he is Christened this coming weekend. He looked so stinkin' cute! I took some in our backyard and our next door neighbor's yard. Jared, Josh and I then trespassed onto a field with overgrown grass to get the rest of the shots. We escaped getting into any trespassing trouble but I must have been punished by someone when I was packing up the car and my $400 prescription sunglasses fell off of my head and into a rain run-off drain (or whatever it is called). Thankfully when Drew got home from work we drove back and he retrieved them with 2 wire hangers hooked together. I was happy with the pics that I got.

Josh's New Dance Move

If you know Josh you know he loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He has always danced to the music on the show (especially the Hot Dog Dance music), however, yesterday he came up with a new dance move. He sits on the floor and turns himself around. The first time he did it he must have done about 5 complete circles - meaning he turned himself around probably close to 15 times in a row. It is rather comical.

Mother's Day (a little late)

Mother's Day was like any other Sunday. I slept in b/c I was up with Josh from 3:30am - 6:30am. He usually doesn't wake up at those ungodly hours so we can't complain about the few and far between occurrences. Drew and Jared went to the store to buy tomato plants so we can try to grow tomatoes again this summer. When they were cleaned up from planting I wanted to get a picture taken with the boys on Mother's Day. I told Jared that I wanted the picture to be a present to me since he is so anti-picture taking lately. He refused to do it where I wanted it taken in the backyard so I had to settle with a picture with the John Deere tractor. I guess it is better than nothing.

Ecotarium

We wanted to get out and do something when Jen and Rob came to visit too so we decided on the Ecotarium. Someone had mentioned it to me a couple months ago and since the weather has been warmer we are able to get out and about to do more things. When we left the house it was not raining but as we got closer it started to rain. The Ecotarium is a small zoo and a science museum. We looked at a few animals on the walk to the museum but had to spend the rest of the time indoors since it continued to rain. Jared really enjoyed himself
